The following applications have been built with GeoStor at the core. The
applications are designed by the requesting entity.
Guidelines for applications developed on GeoStor
- Web services provided through GeoStor should be available to users at no fee
- Data disk space for web services will be limited to 500mb for any data that is not loaded into GeoStor
- Metadata is required for every data set within each web service
- Metadata for data sets not provided for download will be made available
as offline data with a note to contact the provider
- Spatial data must be provided in a pre-approved format (see
Data Loading Policy for details)
- Attribute schemas and layer names for local data can not be changed after data is loaded
- AGIO reserves the right to stop and start services for maintenance and security purposes at any time, without warning
- Web services may not be available between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. when
scheduled maintenance frequently occur and may be stopped or deleted
at any time, without warning by the GeoStor development team
- Spatial data sets stored on GeoStor for web services shall be pre-approved
following the
Data Loading Policy
- Web service account access for GeoStor shall follow state information technology security standards including the following:
Personnel Security Standard and
Password Management Standard
- The provision of technical support for web service map viewers will be reviewed on a case by case basis;
AGIO does not intend to develop web service applications
- All web services built on the GeoStor system or utilizing spatial data within
GeoStor must include the GeoStor at the Core logo on the service’s primary web page
- All agencies will be limited to 2 web services

- GeoStor system infrastructure is located under robust physical and cyber security
- Installation of software and internet security are provided for no fee
- Your data will be made available for download through GeoStor

This application serves as backup access to mapping control monument
locations and control data form Adobe .pdf documents for Pulaski
County. It was designed and is maintained by the Pulaski Area Geographic

Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality Application
This application was designed to provide permit and facility information
maintained by the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality and
updated on GeoStor. Utilizing ADEQ's data, users can access permit
or facility information by searching in the Query Builder and other
methods. The results can be viewed, printed, and downloaded for
additional manipulation offline See

Arkansas State Surveyor Office- Application
This site provides access to digital copies of the plats received
by the Land Surveyor Office. Users can access plat information by
searching on township-range-section, county or using other common
means. Users also have the option to register for weekly or monthly
updates by county. The site is populated with scanned plats submitted
to the State Surveyors Office. |

Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration- Application
The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, Office of
Excise Tax Administration utilizes GeoStor in support of the national
Streamlined Sales and Use Tax initiative. This national initiative
allows for collection of sales tax based upon uniform sourcing of
tax jurisdictions. The system assists tax payers in locating a sales
tax rate for taxing jurisdictions in Arkansas. Vendors and sellers,
as well as the general public use this system. It allows for search
by address or zip code for the city, county and state sales and
use tax rates throughout Arkansas. |

The data presented in this web map is incomplete. Until the application

2006 ADOP Viewer
This application allows users to view aerial photography (digital
orthos) captured between December 28, 2005 and March 31, 2006.
One meter color infrared and natural color photography will
be available statewide in the coming months. One foot natural
color photography is currently available for Miller County,
Sebastian County, Saline County, Pulaski County, and the City
of Hot Springs. Project details are provided on the Arkansas
Digital Ortho Photography web site. Photography can be
downloaded from GeoStor.

Crawford County Arkansas Cadastre
This application service provides information pertaining to
the Crawford County Assessor’s Office. This application
utilizes Crawford County parcels as well as geospatial data
sets that reside in GeoStor. Metadata for each of the data
sets in the application can be located within the GeoStor
system. The application was designed to provide users with
information related to Crawford County. “Providing public
Internet access to this information better serves the taxpayers
with no increase in cost.” states Dianna Faucher, Crawford
County Assessor. This service was built and is maintained
by Crawford County personnel. GeoStor provides city, county
and state entities with hosting services for no fee. See

City
of Hope
This application service provides information pertaining to the
City of Hope. The site assists the City with subdivision and zoning
management. It includes one foot resolution orthophotography,
detailed road centerlines, subdivision boundaries and zoning information.
Hosting the site on GeoStor saved the City of Hope an estimated
$12,350 a year. The application was built by city personnel. See
